Description
Passerine’s collection of vintage Moroccan rugs focuses predominantly on those constructed by Berber tribes high in the Atlas Mountains. These pile rugs offer much thicker pile than the Persian and Turkish rugs featured elsewhere on our site, lending a wonderful, cushioned under-foot feel. Moroccan rugs embrace tend to feature more minimal patterns than Persian and Turkish rugs, opting for large sections of solid undyed cream or a single saturated color. Our collection includes Beni Ourain, Boucherouite, and Beni Mguild styles. These styles all feature a 100% wool construction, and a great grounding element for any modern or bohemian-inspired space.
Pattern, color variation, and signs of wear with vintage items is normal. If you have specific questions about wear or colors, email hello[at]passerinehome[dot]com or call us to discuss this rug in more detail.
We recommend using rug pads to extend the life of all Passerine rugs. Add a custom-sized rug pad to your order using order add-on the drop down above.
